This is the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in France, amazing history of this cathedral that you can read in the link.
John of Jandun recognized the cathedral as one of Paris's three most important buildings in his 1323 "Treatise on the Praises of Paris":

That's a lovely card of the Notre Dame. I've been to Paris a couple of time and it is indeed a beautiful city.
